FAQ
What is an "onacup"?
Onacups are men's toys first developed in Japan. The word is derived from the Japanese "onani," meaning masturbation.
How should I care for the product before use?
Store your TENGA™ at room temperature without exposing it to direct sunlight. Do NOT refrigerate the product as this will cause the lotion to congeal inside the cup. Please keep this product out of the reach of children.
Can I use my TENGA more than once?
TENGA is intended for one-time use only and should never be washed out and re-used. Re-use is possible if you choose to wear a condom during use, but we recommend you just "pump it and dump it."
Is there a safe way to warm my TENGA before use?
We recommend taking your time and letting the unit warm naturally with your body heat. NEVER put your TENGA in a microwave oven, hot water, refrigerator or freezer, and never add anything to the inside of your TENGA. Future models may include a "warming sensation" lubricant, but in the meantime, take your time and let elbow grease and your circulation do the work!
The suction is too intense for me. What can I do?
You can reduce suction by leaving the airhole uncovered or by covering it only partially. When first trying any model of TENGA you should take your time and slowly discover what works best for you. The intensity of the suction varies by model and size, as well as your unique anatomy and movements. If you experience any discomfort with a particular TENGA model or size, you should discontinue use of that model or switch to the larger size. With TENGA, you're in control!
Are TENGA products recyclable?
TENGA is made of 100% recyclable plastics. Because it's made of layers of different polymers, it is in the category "Recycle #7". Check with your local facilities to determine if they accept "Recycle #7" plastics, and follow local regulations when recycling TENGA.
Do TENGA products contain phthalates?
TENGA products contain no phthalates or bisphenol-A (BPA) and are packaged to ensure sanitation and freshness.
What are the ingredients of the lotion inside?
The lotion ingredients are purified water, glycerin, propylene glycol, hydroxyl ethyl cellulose, sodium polyacrylate, phenoxyethanol, IPBC and paraben (allergy tested in Japan). All ingredients are commonly used in FDA-registered topical skin products.
How long will the lotion last after the cap is opened?
Once the seal is broken and the cap is off air may enter the cup and dry the lotion inside. So please do not open your TENGA until you're ready to use it.
How will the shipping package be marked?
We respect your privacy and will NOT indicate the package contents in any way on the shipping label.
